Size Guide

Please follow the descriptions below to see how we get measurements for each item. We measure as accurately as possible. All measurements are in inches and taken while a garment is lying flat. Sometimes we’ll account for stretch. Because vintage sizes are different from today’s standards our sizing is based on modern American sizes (see below chart). Please refer to an items measurements to determine if it’s right for you. To gage proper fit you can compare measurements to a garment you currently own. Clothing Measurements:

Bust: from armpit to armpit then doubled 

Shoulder Width: from the back, shoulder to shoulder

Sleeve Length: from the top of a shoulder to the opening of it’s sleeve

Waist: from side to side at the smallest points then doubled

Hips: from side to side at the widest points then doubled

Rise: from the back, top of the waistband to the crotch seam

Inseam: from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg opening

Total Length: from the back, shoulder seam or waistband to the hem

 

Shoe Measurements:

Insole: lengthwise across from the heel to the toe

Ball Width: from the widest points across the ball of the foot

Heel Height: from the back, top of the heel where it connects to the shoe to the bottom of the heel

Height: from the back, top of the shoe to the bottom of the heel
